U3A Walking Trip to Castell del Castells

Fifteen members of the Javea U3A Walking Group, ably led by Al Knight,spent two days walking in the beautiful, mountainous area of Castell del Castells, during the 16th-17th April. We stayed overnight at the very hospitable Hotel Rural Serrella, enjoying a typical Spanish meal, followed by Angela's quiz! The weather was kind to us, being perfect conditions for walking, and although we had woken up to rain on the Thursday morning, by breakfast time the sky had cleared and our waterproofs were not required.
