If you fancy a good read followed by a lively debate and are happy, occasionally, to host a Book Club afternoon, then this group is for you! Through the group, we will introduce new authors and books to one another and discuss informally their strengths and weaknesses.

The book club is delighted to announce that there are now have TWO Book Clubs to accommodate the expanding numbers. 

Kay Thomas will be running a MORNING Book group which will meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 10.30 am at the Parador in Javea.

The AFTERNOON group continues to meet at members’ homes on the third Monday of each month from 3 - 5pm.

In July both groups will amalgamate, as Christine Huguet (a lecturer in English Literature) will be joining us to discuss The Mystery of Edwin Drood by Charles Dickens. This is the last novel written by Dickens and is actually incomplete. Christine suggested that we could examine possible endings!
