This course is for beginners and near beginners in SLR photography and those who may feel they have never quite got to grips with the advantages of SLR photography (yes we know how easy it is to forget the basics!).

It also might suit those who have other more advanced cameras that may well not be SLR cameras but they still have many of the SLR advantages and choices.

The course will start with a ‘get to know your camera’ session, going through all the basic settings and will progress from there.

The sessions will include taking photographs for portraits and people, landscapes, moving objects and night scenes and whatever else the group want to discuss or practice.

Group sessions are to be held at the Sala Conferencia in the Centro Social, Javea Pueblo and at our house near Javea using the garden and house for photographic practice. The group sessions will be for an initial 3 months.

The first two courses were at the group leader's house near Javea using the garden and house for photographic practice. If there is enough interest we will continue with courses once every two weeks.
