Artistes from Britain’s musical theatre will be taking time off from professional engagements next month to fly to the Costa Blanca to sing the songs of Rogers and Hammerstein in aid of Caritas - a long established, international charity, which is currently coordinating the relief effort against hunger which has emerged as a real concern in Javea and many Costa Blanca towns. Flying from the U.K. to join Sue in the show will be Loraine Hart, whose West End credits include ‘Bugsy Malone’, ‘A Chorus Line’ and ‘Hello Dolly’; narrator, Jim McManus, who recently completed a year in The Mouse Trap and who has won enormous acclaim in England, Europe and the USA for his recreation of Dickens’ public performances of his own work; singer, Peter Sutherland who has a string of musicals to his credits; musical director, Chris Hocking, who has played, arranged and conducted for many well known stars including Matt Monroe, Tommy Cooper, Harry Secombe, Cilla Black and many, more; Georgina Todd, who recently made her debut at the award winning Watermill Theatre in their annual show, ’ Seasonal Sauce’ and whose musical credits include ‘Grease’, ‘A Chorus Line’, ‘FAME’ and ‘Fiddler on the Roof’, and Tiffany Todd, who has appeared in musical concerts at the London Palladium and whose musical credits include ‘Godspell’, ‘A Chorus Line’, ‘Guys and Dolls’ and ‘Grease’.
