On 22nd January, 29 of us met at La Cocina in the Port for a superb meal. Weather, ambience, food, wine and company were at a premium. We welcomed two new members Pauline and Brian. Raffle of a bottle of cava won by Claire.

On 19th February, 18 of us went to Atalaya [above Scallops on the Arenal] and were able to enjoy the panoramic views due to a nice sunny day. Sylvia and Sheila joined us for the first time. Food and wine was very good. Pety won the pink cava. Congratulations Pety!

In 15th April, the group had lunch at The Mira Jávea, which was found to be very good, a lot of people thought excellent. A lovely setting with stunning views. The staff worked very hard to make the experience so good. Thank you to George and all his staff.

The next lunch will be held on 20th May. Graham is hoping to seek out a new venue for us all and will publish details in due course.
