We are a group of approximately 70 people, with an average attendance of 40 - 45 people each week. The group is a mixture of couples and single people. It is a fun group and not competitive, so no prizes, but a lot of laughter.

There are tables of 4 people playing and each week we draw numbers out of a bag, so you generally meet and play with new people at every meeting.

Please note that the group now meets at the L'Ancora Tennis Club, Javea.

Rummikubs is often mistaken for a card game, it is a tile game (see the image above). If you do not know how to play the game, we will teach you. It is an easy game to learn and it exercises the brain. Rummikubs is a very sociable game and can be played by people of all ages, you could teach your grandchildren and they will enjoy it too.

Once a month, after the U3A meeting, we arrange an economical lunch for anyone who wishes to join us. It saves us ladies, going back home and cooking. We try different restaurants around Javea and found this a most enjoyable experience.

The group has been running for over 2 years now and we can honestly say that we have made many wonderful friendships from this group.

Please note - this group is now fully subscribed. However, anyone wishing to play Rummikubs can join a second group that has been set up.
