Painting with Light

A presentation by David Winpenny.

This is our opportunity to explore the value of light, understand
the marvellous technical improvements and techniques, styles and processes of stained and coloured glass through the ages.

We will begin with the beginning of basic coloured glass in the
early centuries, introducing some of the main manufacturers and designers of the 18th Century, the Gothic revival of the 19th, and their latest successors in the art today who are filling in the
windows of the secular and sacred buildings of Europe.

Thurs 3rd May 10:00 at the Salones Canor, Teulada.

Visitors welcome for €12 payable at the door.

Coffee is available prior to the meeting, and all are invited to
