The Cultural Arts Coordinator will research what concerts, shows, etc. are forthcoming in the local and wider areas, and these are published in the Cultural Arts Newsletter. Some of these events are for information only, and you will need to make your own bookings. Others are bookable via the Cultural Arts Coordinator, and coach transport will be arranged if appropriate.

Please be aware that payment is required on booking as tickets have to be purchased in advance, and there is generally a cut-off point by which time if you have not paid, your name/s has to be taken off the list. If you book and subsequently find that you cannot attend on the evening, you should try and sell on your place – it is rarely possible to obtain a refund once tickets have been issued, though you may contact the Cultural Arts Coordinator to see if there is a waiting list.

Our group booking often attracts a discount, but this is not always the case as sometimes a concert is in aid of a local charity; or we may have to attend on the less popular “first night” to receive a discount. Please note that in the unlikely event of a Concert Promoter being declared bankrupt, Jávea U3A would not be in a position to refund any losses which may occur.
